The concept of life-long learning is now of utmost importance, especially when we consider that the entirety of the planet’s knowledge now doubles within the space of a few years. As Bandura (1963) has already explained, individuals develop their personality by continually learning from their social environment (cf. Bandura, & Walters, 1963).

Inspiration is a very important and interesting subject area. What inspires us? When are we inspired and what feeling of happiness does this trigger in us? A new idea is an exciting thing – it stirs in us a keen interest in the unknown and at the same time we test to see whether it’s an idea that could be realized and put into practice.

In all aspects of our fast-moving, ever-changing and therefore challenging times, it is becoming increasingly important to create clarity with regard to one’s own work strategies. Simply functioning and investing ever more time in your work in order to meet the expected requirements will not lead to success in the long run.
